Is toner the same thing as ink?

No. Toner is dry and baked on to the paper. Ink is wet and sprayed on to the paper. Toner is associated with laser printers and ink with inkjet printers.


Even within ink and toner they are not the same. You cant use toner from one printer for another or ink from one printer for another.
